Job Summary:
HP is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making. This role is critical for enhancing operational efficiency, supporting business finance initiatives, and driving process improvements across teams. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical skills and deep expertise in finance operations within multinational or matrixed organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, including trial balance, balance sheets, and operational metrics to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate across business units to support finance initiatives and drive operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL for effective business intelligence.
- Automate workflows and financial models, primarily using Alteryx and other relevant toolsets.
- Lead or contribute to process improvement projects, employing scenario building and workflow diagrams.
- Ensure consistent compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Key Technical Skills:
Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Alteryx, SAP
Requirements:
- Graduation in finance or related field.
- 6–8 years of relevant finance experience, especially in business finance and operations.
- Expert-level proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Alteryx.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Strong presentation, communication skills, and ability to build process workflow diagrams.
- Experience with accounting standards and compliance frameworks.
- Willingness to contribute as a team or project leader, with effective communication and a results-oriented approach.
- Hands-on experience with SAP applications preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience in a large multinational or matrixed business environment.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP applications.
